Riley's Furniture & Mattress – Terms of Sale
We appreciate your business and want you to be confident in your purchase. Below are the guidelines for returns, exchanges, cancellations, payment, price match and more. All requests are subject to approval and inspection of the merchandise.
1. Stocked Merchandise (Items with SKUs):
- Returns are accepted within 3 business days of delivery or pickup if the item is in like-new condition and has been approved upon inspection once returned to the warehouse. A 30% restocking fee applies to approved returns.
- Prefer to reselect? You can receive a one-time in-store credit toward an item of equal or greater value, with a reduced 15% restocking fee being assessed.
2. Custom Orders:
- You have 3 business days from the order date to make changes or cancel the order without penalty.
- After that:
- For a one-time reselection of equal or greater value, a 30% restocking fee applies.
- If you prefer a refund, a 50% restocking fee will be deducted.
3. Non-Returnable Items:
For health, hygiene, and custom reasons, some items are not eligible for return or refund. These include:
- Clearance/Closeout items
- Pillows, sheets, and mattress protectors
- Adjustable/power bed bases
- Special order fabric selections or cut yardage
- Opened or not in original packaging Top-of-bed items (comforters, etc.)
- Shipping/delivery charges and service fees
- Protection plans (unless you're doing a reselection, in which case only the restocking fee % applies)
4. Mattress Comfort Exchange:
- Mattresses that are industry fair traded, when purchased with a mattress protector, may be comfort exchanged once after 30 days and up to 120 days.
- Exchange must be for an item of equal or greater value.
- 15% disposal fee for all comfort selects on non-fair traded brand sets
- A $249 pick-up and disposal fee apply
5. Delivery & Storage Policy:
- Please arrange pickup or delivery within 30 days of your purchase or notified your purchase has arrived.
- A $2 per day, per piece storage fee will begin after 30 days.
- After 60 days, your order may be canceled. A refund will be issued minus storage fees and a 30% restocking fee, and the items may be resold.
6. Restocking Fees:
- Restocking fees help cover processing, handling, and administration.
- Expect a minimum of 15% on standard returns.
- Custom orders require a minimum 30% restocking fee.
7. Pickup Requests:
- If we pick up your items, our standard delivery fee will apply for the return trip plus any applicable restocking fees.
8. Refund Processing:
- Refunds are issued to the original form of payment, minus the restocking fees
- All refunds for purchases made by credit card must be issued to the same credit card used at the time of purchase. This is to ensure proper security, fraud prevention, and compliance with credit card processing regulations, no exceptions.
- All refunds for purchases made by financing will be credited to the financing company, minus the restocking fees that will be your responsibility to pay.
- Cash refunds will be mailed via check from our business office within 7-10 business days.
9. Price Match:
- We guarantee the best price and extend that guarantee for 30 days after your purchase. We guarantee to price match any advertised price from an authorized brick and mortar retailer who provides local service and falls under the same terms and conditions (include any applicable fees associated with the purchase – taxes, delivery charges, finance charges, restock charges etc.)
- All price match resources will be verified and printed for management approval.
10. Payments:
- All orders must be paid in full at time of sale (cash, check, credit card, or financing) leaving a zero balance.
- Orders will not be processed until payment is received in full.
- With approved financing all taxes and delivery charges must be collected at time of sale.
Customer is to sign on the order form acknowledging an agreement to the Terms of Sale and having received a copy to take home.
